ReplyDeleteI think your photos fit your essay really well. I can tell it is about a person getting ready for the day (or going out). I like how they are in the sequence of getting ready, going out, and then coming back and getting ready for bed. I think each image is unique, but when put together they tell a story. I like your photo essay because as a girl, I can totally relate to getting ready to go out and then coming home and just wanting to have a fresh face before I go to bed. I think maybe a guy who doesn't have a sister/girlfriend might not understand exactly what is going on, but the idea is pretty easily conveyed. I like how some of the photos have the artificial lighting with no flash because they look very natural and how everything would appear in really life. In my opinion I think each image creates a good sequence, the one I may take out or replace is photo 7. One critique would be to maybe increase the shutter speed because not all of the photos seem to be in sharp focus which may be due to movement of the subject while shooting. Another thing is maybe instead of having 3 photos washing the face at the end, maybe have like 1 or 2 and then a photo of the subject all natural right after washing her face. I would keep 1-6, and 2 of 8-10. Overall good job!
